What if I have a fault at night?

With our 24 hour office number you will be directed to a standby engineer outside office hours.

How often should batteries be replaced?

We recommend replacing batteries every 2 years on our wireless systems.
On our wired systems we recommend panel batteries are replaced every 5 years.

If my alarm is triggered how will I know?

If you have one of our Pyronix alarms installed with the app, not only can you control your alarm system remotely but you get a notification on your phone, ipad etc (internet or WIFI required).

Can we upgrade if we have an existing wired system?

Yes, we can use existing wiring to upgrade an existing system. With the Euro 46 panel we can further improve your security by adding wireless devices without having to run unsightly cables from device to panel.

Do I have to pay any subscription fees?

If you have a smart alarm then we charge £25.00 per annum for the APP subscription (1st year is included with all installations) 

Can I add additional devices at a later date?

Yes as long has the Panel has spare zones else an additional expander would be required.

Do I have to pay for a site survey ?

All our surveys are free and no obligation to purchase.

Cause of false alarms?

90% of false alarms are due to spiders who like to make themselves a home behind the motion sensors.
Another common cause is decorations, including balloons being left near motion sensors.

Can wireless alarm systems be jammed?

Whilst cheaper DIY kits may be jammed, we only use the Pyronix wireless enforcer range as it has two-way communication i.e. devices and panel talk to each other and dual channel signalling so if someone did try to jamm the signal it would move to another channel.

My parents are old is there anything that you can do?

Yes, on our enforcer panel you can use a wireless fob which has a lock symbol to arm the system and unlock to disarm. These fobs can also be programmed as panic alarms.

Can I set the alarm when I have pets in the house?

Yes we can install Pet friendly PIR’s

Can you maintain an alarm which has been installed by someone else?

we can maintain any system, as long as it’s in working order (subject to a site inspection and takeover service fee)

Will the alarm work during a power cut?

All panels we install come with a battery back up and your premises will be secure for upto 8 hours during a power cut.
